State your preferences

Ask about practitioner preferences, companions and room arrangements. Availability must be checked for your chosen time. If you do not understand part of a session, ask before continuing.

Photographs are a separate choice

If photography or filming is proposed, ask its purpose, where it will appear and whether you can decline. Agreeing to a service is not the same as agreeing to publicity.

You may change your mind

Say if you want a pause, lighter pressure or an end to the session. Clarify any fee implications in advance. Feeling able to ask questions is an important part of the visit.
