Prepared 18 September 2026 · Educational information, not an individual diagnosis.

Start with the method
Before comparing experiences, establish whether the session involved dry or wet cupping, which area was treated and the intended goal. Different procedures and circumstances cannot be treated as equivalent evidence.
Separate experience from evidence
Feeling better after a visit is a personal experience; it does not by itself explain why a change occurred. Look for a defined outcome and follow-up period. The NCCIH overview is a useful starting point for the limits of cupping research.
Three questions for your visit
What is the goal for me? Which risks matter given my health history? How will we decide whether another session is worthwhile? Ask before buying a package. A considered choice leaves room to wait, ask again or choose another form of care.
